CenterPoint Energy today (June 21) announced that through contributions from both its charitable foundation and generous donations from its vendors and suppliers, more than $3 million has been donated to the Houston-Harris County Winter Storm Relief Fund. The Relief Fund, which was established by Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner and Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo, is aimed at supporting low-income Houstonians without insurance who were impacted by February’s severe winter weather.
