The NLC Service Line Warranty Program by HomeServe (formerly Utility Service Partners, Inc. (USP)), administrator of the National League of Cities Service Line Warranty Program, was recognized by the National Black Caucus of Local Elected Officials (NBC-LEO) during the 2013 National League of Cities Congress of Cities and Exposition. The award was presented to USP’s President and Chief Executive Officer, Philip E. Riley, Jr. during the NBC-LEO Membership Luncheon and Awards Program on Thursday, November 14, 2013 as a result of outstanding contributions to the organization, event sponsorships and a commitment to strengthening the NBC-LEO—USP alliance.

“Utility Service Partners is humbled by this recognition,” stated Mr. Riley. “Our organization and the NLC Service Line Warranty Program are committed to maintaining our long-standing relationship with NBC-LEO and look forward to continuing support of their efforts to benefit each member’s respective community.”

USP is proud to sponsor many NBC-LEO networking events and programming. In addition, many NBC-LEO representatives across the nation are active National League of Cities Service Line Warranty Program partners—including Atlanta, GA and Phoenix, AZ.

“It is an honor to be recognized by NBC-LEO, an active organization whose values parallel those of USP. I look forward to fostering our partnership and working collectively to meet our common goal of helping community leaders improve quality of life for residents through education and community outreach,” stated Jeffrey Milliner, Business Development Specialist and USP’s NBC-LEO liaison.
