Duquesne Light partnership saves Pittsburgh Customer $1,000 in Water Heater Repairs

Axel C. of Pittsburgh turned on the sink one morning, and no hot water came out. He remembered that he had a HomeServe repair plan through his utility, Duquesne Light, that covered water heater repair and replacement.  

He called HomeServe and was quickly connected with a local and reliable contractor, Ray Hall Plumbing.  After arriving at Axel’s home, the plumber confirmed the water heater needed to be replaced and installed a new one right away. The replacement was completely covered under his plan, saving Axel more than one thousand dollars.  

Looking back, Axel summed up the experience simply and enthusiastically.
