Michigan Partnerships
The beautiful state of Michigan is known for so many things; a thriving automotive and industrial center, it also is filled with the natural beauty of beaches, forests, and so much more. But it shares one thing with every other state… aging infrastructure that can lead to unforeseen damages to service lines for residents. That’s why so many communities throughout Michigan have turned to HomeServe programs to help their residents in their times of need.
Most homeowners don’t realize they are responsible for the water and sewer lines from the street to their meter, and are shocked to find they must pay to repair damage caused by age, tree roots, and other issues. Planning ahead and having a warranty program in place to cover these costs can make all the difference when an unexpected emergency occurs.
In fact, in Michigan we have:
- 50 Municipal and Water Utility Partners;
- A Partnership with Michigan Rural Water Association;
- Over 149,400 Active Water-Related Protection Plans;
- Saved homeowners in your state over $19.7 million in water-related costs since 2017.
Nationally, we have saved customers over $1.1 billion over the past three years.

Customer Testimonials
- We are so happy with the service we received from Service Line Warranties. They acted immediately after our call for help with a backed up sewer line. The serviceman was here the next day and did a thorough job of snaking out the sewer line. (Tree roots were the problem). Our serviceman was friendly, professional and worked hard to fix our problem. We are so glad we signed on with Service Line Warranties. Most definitely worth the cost of the insurance!!!. – Thomas L, Royal Oak, MI

Corinthia Stuckey of Detroit could not flush waste down the aging lines in her home, as they would flood her basement. She needed help, and we partnered with the City of Detroit to replace her water and sewer lines. To see the whole story, watch the video.
