HomeServe Program Saves Golden State Water Customers Over $1 Million in Home Repairs

More Than 10,500 Customers Participate in the Repair Plan Program

San Dimas, California – December 13, 2021 – Since 2019, HomeServe has offered Golden State Water Company (Golden State Water) customers access to optional, affordable service plans that can help cover the costs to repair or replace water and sewer lines that connect their homes to utility-owned infrastructure.

Over the last two years, HomeServe has enrolled 10,588 Golden State Water customers for coverage and has saved participants over $1 million in repair costs. This program has helped customers address repairs they would otherwise have to pay for out-of-pocket.

The HomeServe program offers Golden State Water customers access to optional no-deductible repair service plans that cover water and sewer service line repairs and in-home plumbing emergencies. When a covered repair arises, customers with a service plan have access to local, qualified contractors who can complete the repair quickly. Many homeowners are unaware that they are financially responsible to repair water and sewer lines on their property, and that repairs are usually not covered under standard homeowner’s insurance.
