City offers Utility Line Protection Program to Residents
Posted on: March 5, 2012

The City of Green River has endorsed a program provided through its membership in the National League of Cities (NLC). In turn, the forthcoming Service Line Warranty Program is administered by an NLC partner, Service Line Warranties of America (SLWA).

This program offers an “insurance policy” to property owners that will help cover the costs of repairs or replacements to the outside water and sewer lines that run from the point of City responsibility to the home. As has always been the case, property owners are responsible for these repairs.

The warranty program will provide low cost help with sewer or water line repairs and will be offered to property owners via a separate SLWA mailing within the next month.
For more information regarding the forthcoming Service Line Warranty Program, please call the City of Green River’s Public Information office at 307-872-6133.
